Project Overview
Location: Preston
Scope of work: This house in Preston had an old, run-down, leaking bathroom, which needed a full upgrade. The space was quite small and needed a new design to maximise the available space.
The original bathroom had a double window with cabinet in the middle and offered very little cupboard space. This was removed, the vanity was relocated and a separate mirror cabinet was installed above. A new window was installed with obscure, safety glass.
All plasterwork is glued on with Premium Bond Stud Adhesive, a Boral product. All plasterwork is screwed on to ensure maximum strength.
The original skylight was open an open skylight which made it difficult to reach and clean. Lighting and exhaust fan were not functioning to their required capacity. A full upgrade of lighting, exhaust fan and skylight was installed to resolve all issues.
A finished bathroom with products and accessories for use and easy clean. The completed bathroom included a vanity plug with a pop-up waste. This is an added convenience with the removal of the old rubber plug.
Total Bathroom Renovations provides a variety of services. One of the services completed on this Preston job was a gutter and down-pipe clean. This is an essential part of maintaining a house to prevent further damage.
Clients Testimonial:
“What a transformation! I couldn’t be happier with my new bathroom. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding and every day Mark cleaned up thoroughly before he left. He kept me informed of the progress and his enthusiasm reinforced the fact that I had chosen the right company. The only downside was his choice of football team!!! Thanks for the fantastic new bathroom.”
