TBR Project Northcote

Location: Northcote

Scope of work: Our Clients in Northcote chose to renovate their main bathroom and toilet room because of the 1970s style floor plan. There were three different entry points, making the design space quite limiting and awkward.

The existing shower area had mold in the grout and broken tiles at the base, an indication that water was leaking behind the walls. When we stripped the area, we found rotting wood, which was completely removed and rebuilt. Next, the plaster sheeting was painted with waterproof membrane.

We blocked off two doorways in the main bathroom to allow for a more spacious shower area as well as a bath and vanity.

The small toilet room was given a modern upgrade. The second entry door was blocked off to give the room more privacy. A new slim-line vanity (500mm) and mirror were added.

Clients Testimonial:

“We recently decided to start giving our 20 year old townhouse some TLC and are so glad that we had Mark on board to help with our bathroom. Mark’s professionalism and expertise are absolutely outstanding. Both he and Bindi were great company and a pleasure to have around. They were extremely organised and the house was always left clean. The kids really loved having them around. Mark went out of his way to include the kids, patiently explaining answers to any questions they had about what he was doing. Mark is extremely generous, a week after our bathroom was finished the old hot water system failed, Mark came to our rescue and by the end of the day Mark had us up and running again with new system. We love our new bathroom and thank Mark and Bindi very much for all their amazing work!”
